So Many Treatments, How Do I Choose?
Choosing a correct treatment can be confusing; there are so many options out there and all of them sound appealing! Don’t worry, we’re here to help.
Choosing your correct treatment first starts with addressing your main concerns: Are you dealing with dry skin? What about hyperpigmentation? Fine lines and dull skin are also common concerns. Let’s narrow down your list of concerns into your TOP TWO. So, first you need to answer the question of “what two major skin issues are most pressing for you right now?”
After we answer the above question, we can then offer treatment options for you. When we do this, we want to take a look at your lifestyle and at-home products to determine which treatment to start you on. Getting an understanding of this allows for your esthetician to make a comprehensive skincare plan for you. Some treatments require down-time afterwards like our SkinPen Microneedling and some Chemical Peels - which target concerns deeper in the skin such as scarring, fine lines, and sun damage. So for example, if you’re heading to a wedding or big event this weekend, we wouldn’t recommend those options for you. More aggressive services can result in healing skin for a few days post-treatment. For example, immediately after microneedling the skin can be very red. Red or pink skin can last 1-3 days. Additionally, an even longer healing time is required for our VI Chemical Peels (our PCA NoPeel Peel has zero down time). After the VI Peel, patients experience peeling and shedding skin 3-6 days after their treatment.
Now that you’re able to determine your top two skin concerns AND if you can allow for down-time, you’re all set to get in touch with us and choose your treatment! If you feel confident on your own, you can call or book your service online. If you have questions or unique circumstances, you can set up a complimentary skin assessment where you’ll meet with an esthetician and they can take a closer look at your skin and talk about everything more in depth!
See you soon!
